Hong Kong 2010

Yeah, back from my Hong Kong shooping trip just recently..
This time, I will show you or maybe teach you how to shop smartly in Hong Kong (HK) with the best bargain.

Honestly, stronger MYR also gives us more reasons to buy in HK. The ringgit has been recovered from its lowest MYR48.30 exchange HKD100 in Mar 2009 to higher MYR42 exchange HKD100 in Apr 2010. Which means that every dollar you spend in HK will give you 13% discount in Ringgit. (eg: a pair of shoes previously was ratailed at HKD199, probably you have to pay MYR96.11 in 2009, but now only MYR83.58! see the different?

We arrived in HK around 12 noon, and took cab from HKIA to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST). Taxi fares was around HKD245-255 including surcharge for 3 pieces of luggages, tolls. They don't have complicated taxi variants in Malaysia. You just need to recognise a red cabbie, and they will send you to every corner in HK Island and Kowloon.

Shopping districts in HK are very centralized. Tsim Sha Tsui is suitable for those who looking for luxurious brands..LV, Gucci, Dior, YSL..you name it, you get it in this concrete city. Mongkok is very suitable for luxury yet affordable brands. H&M is a must buy brand in HK. Quality wise is very similiar to Zara, but priced cheaper than Topshop.

Another brand I like most is Uniqlo. Uniqlo is originated from Japan, but available in Korea, China, Singapore, HK...and i heard that this brand is coming to Malaysia in August. And it will be a 3 storeys flagship store located in Fahrenheit 88 (former KL Plaza). We shall wait and see

You must taste the local desserts when you are travelling in HK. You may taste the delicious dessert from traditional stalls or Pick & Go chain store.

Funs and joys are always here...We will share with you further!
